Nelson House First Nation

Located about 64 kilometers or 40 miles west of Thompson, Manitoba, is Nelson House First Nation which is within Misipawistik Ojibway Reserve. Below are links to google earth photos of Nelson House region and all other Misipawistik Reserve communities. Their woodland Ojibway Folks! The woodlands in the Nelson House region seem a bit stunted. They have very cold winters in that region. Their on-Reserve population is 2,547 according to 2016's census. They have 519 dwellings with 489 lived in. Average household size is 5.2 persons per household. Around 1,045 speak Corrupted Ojibway Language which is what Lewis and Clark called Cree Language, at Nelson House First Nation. What follows the photos links, is helpful. If you carefully look at the maps, you'll notice an awkward appearance. Instead of Lake Winnipeg being vertical, it's almost horizontal which means you have to arrange your computer screen so the maps look correct or Lake Winnepeg is vertical. There's a conspiracy at this Reserve to promote being Cree! Your not fooling me by claiming you are Cree. I'm enforcing law! You are charged with Desertion during time of war and Forging a False National Identity during time of war. That is an extremely serious crime! Cree People are really the Athabascan Beaver Tribe.
