Smith's Landing First Nation

Located primarily in the Northwest Territories but parts of the reserves are in extreme northeastern Alberta, is the Chipewyan and Chippewa smiths landing first nation. There are 8 Reserves which make up this First Nation. They cover an area of 9,037 total hectares or 22,331 total acres. Total population is 302, with most (149) living off-reserve, and the rest (153) living on crown land, which is probably Fort Smith, Northwest Territories.
