Washagamis Bay First Nation


This band of Ojibway's live in far western northwestern Ontario, north of Minnesota, within Lake of the Woods Ojibway Reserve. Below are google earth photos of Washagamis Bay First Nation and other communities of Lake of the Woods Reserve. Population of Washagamis Bay First Nation is 140 according to 2016's census. That does not include those living with whites. They have 231 dwellings with 46 lived in. Average household size is 3.1 persons per household. Ojibway Language is yet spoken there. Around 30 people speak Ojibway at Washagamis Bay First Nation
