The Battle of Blackstock’s Farm November 20, 1780
This battle took place in late November of 1780, in the English colony of South Carolina, which had yet to be brought back under white control entirely. A force of 1,270 English soldiers under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Banastre Tarleton, fought a large force of brave soldiers from the Southern Anishinabe Confederation and lost. White casualties were insignificant in the small battle. Their casualties were 58 killed and wounded.
