The Battle of Blanford April 25, 1781

With North Carolina now having a large English military presence again, the English then started to focus more of their attention on their Virginia colony which had the largest population of all the English colonies. A force of around 2,200 English soldiers under the command of Benedict Arnold, battled a military force from the Southern Anishinabe Confederation near Petersburg, Virginia, on April 25, 1781 and defeated them. White casualties in the battle were 130 killed and wounded.
