The September 16, 1810 Battle of Guanajuato
A force of Anishinabe Soldiers was assembled with plans to attack the city of Guanajuato, which is located just north of Mexico City. This occurred on September 10, 1810. The whites had no choice but to barricade themselves in the granary. It took some time but Anishinabe Soldiers forced the whites to surrender. Afterwards, Anishinabe Soldiers killed some of the whites and forced many others into exile. The end of this battle occurred on September 28, 1810.
