The Battle of Lenudís Ferry May 6, 1780

This battle occurred at what is now the present State of South Carolina. It was a part of the English military campaign to regain control of their South Carolina Colony. A force of over 500 English soldiers battled a force of soldiers from the Southern Anishinabe Confederation on May 6, 1780 and prevailed. White casualties were 41 killed or wounded, with another 67 being captured then probably killed later on or enslaved by the Indians.
