The Battle of Leon April 30, 1915




Located just to the north of Celaya, the Mexican city of Leon was also targeted by the soldiers from the Anishinabe Confederation of Mexico. They laid siege to the Mexican city in late April of 1915. The battle for control of the Mexican city dragged on for over one month. On June 3, 1915, the soldiers from the Anishinabe Confederation of Mexico, lifted their siege over the Mexican city of Leon, then left in defeat.
