June 19, 1813 Battle of Pequereque
This is yet another battle which is considered by historians to have been a part of the Alto Peru Campaigns, or a part of the Argentine War of Independence. It was, however, just another battle between the Anishinabe Army and army of the white confederation led by England, for control of South America. It was a minor battle between 135 brave Anishinabe soldiers and nearly 200 soldiers from the white confederation. It was fought in Bolivia which means the whites were yet still trying to control land away from the Pacific Coast. Anishinabe soldiers defeated the soldiers from the white confederation. Anishinabe casualties were 3 killed and 10 wounded. White casualties were 10 killed and 20 wounded.
