November 15, 1816 Battle of Yavi

This battle is yet another one considered by historians to have been a part of the so called Alto Peru Campaigns, or the Argentine War of Independence but was really just another battle between the Anishinabe Army and army of the white confederation led by England, for control of South America. This battle was won by the whites. The location of this battle was the Jujuy region which today is the northern most province in Argentina. It borders Bolivia.
