Parkers Defeat

This battle occurred in late July of 1757, and involved 350 English soldiers under the command of Colonel John Parker, and close to 500 Anishinabek and other Indian soldiers. Catching up to the fleeing 350 English soldiers in their boats, the Anishinabek commenced to board the English boats to give battle to them and killed some 150, and captured the remainder. Many of the captured English soldiers were enslaved or sold to the French or outright killed by the victorious Anishinabek.
