Bloodvein First Nation Man Killed In Hit & Run


His age at time of death was 22 years old. Though from the Ojibway Kasba Reservation community of Bloodvein, he was killed in a hit and run accident near the Ojibway Kasba Reservation community of Fort Alexander (aka Sagkeeng). This hit and run accident happened before 5:35 a.m. on Monday August 10, 2020 on Highway 304 about 10 miles or 17 kilometers northeast of Sagkeeng. When police reached the accident scene, they did not find the person who drove the vehicle that killed the unidentified Bloodvein man. They are continuing to investigate and are asking for public support in solving this crime. Bloodvein is located in Manitoba adjacent to Lake Manitoba's east shores.
