Cross Lake First Nation House Fire Kills 2 People


Cross Lake is an Ojibwat community located in north central Manitoba. On Thursday September 3, 2020 police and the CL fire department were called to a house fire in the Natamik 1 area of CL. Firefighters had to first put out the fire before getting inside. After putting the fire out, they found 2 dead people inside the house. They reported that 2 other people escaped the blaze safely. They are continuing an investigation to find what caused it.
