Major Drug Bust At Fort Albany

Although it's a small community of around 2,000 people, Fort Albany has a major drug problem. Police did an investigation about drug trafficking at Fort Albany and arrested a 29 year old Fort Albany man. Police confiscated 1,502 meth pills, 292 oxycodone pills and a fentanyl patch. After adding up all 1,794 pills, they estimated the street value of the illegal drugs to be $119,320. They released the fellow responsible for playing a role in keeping Fort Albany's citizens content. However, there's always someone that will continue on with dirty deeds. Fort Albany is an isolated Ojibway community located along James Bay's west coast. Tell that to them and the affects of drug use materialize.
