Pedestrian Killed By Impaired Driver at Keeseekoose Reserve


Police were called at 3:24 a.m. on Thursday August 6, 2020 about a pedestrian vs vehicle accident at or near the Ojibway Keeseekoose Reserve. The accident happened on Highway 8 and involved an impaired driver who stayed at the accident scene. When police reached the accident scene, the victim was already dead. They identified the victim as a 23 year old man from the Cote District of Keeseekoose Reserve. However, they did not release his identity. Police arrested the 29 year old driver at the accident scene. He will appear in court on October 6, 2020 at Kamsack. Keeseekoose Reserve is located in Saskatchewan.
