Woman Killed In Crash At Qu'Appelle Lakes Reserve


An investigation into a single vehicle crash at the Ojibway Qu'Appelle Lakes Reserve (Piapot First Nation or District) is ongoing. Police were called about an accident on a gravel road within Qu'Appelle Lakes Reserve, at around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday August 15, 2020. Cupar EMS and STARS Air Ambulance were also called. When they reached the single vehicle accident scene, they found a 22 year old woman already dead. They did not release details about her identity not where she was from. Police did report that the vehicle rolled during the crash. The 22 year old woman was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Qu'Appelle Lakes Reserve is located in southeast Saskatchewan near the white city of Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan.
