Rocky Boy Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana

Anegam, Arizona

It's a small village of Tohono O'odham Nation. It's located 2.0 miles northeast of Achi (I'm not certain if Achi is actually located 2.0 miles southwest of Anegam - on google maps it's located just east of Santa Rosa's northern portion) and 3.5 miles north of Santa Rosa. Below are several google earth photos of Anegam. Desert conditions are yet lush where Anegam is located. 2011 census reported Anegam population at 151. They have 43 dwelling units at Anegam, with 38 lived in. Average household size is 4.0 persons per housing unit at Anegam. Using google earth i counted 50 or more housing units at Anegam. Population of Anegam is probably closer to 200. At Anegam, a lusher desert exists compared to Papago Reservations west. Many small trees and shrubs scatter that desert. Mountains are nearby which are scenic and beautify that location, especially during winter and spring. Anegam is a cdp or Census Designated Place. It has an appearance of a disorganized settlement. However, it is in fact a cdp. Housing units are scatter about over a large area.
