Wahak Hotronk, Arizona


It's a small village of Tohono O'odham Nation. It's located at Papago Reservations west end, some 30 miles southeast of Ajo, Arizona. Below are several google earth photos of Wahak Hotronk. 2010 census reported Wahak Hotronks population at 114. They have 46 dwelling units at Wahak Hotronk, with 33 lived in. Average household size is 3.5 persons per housing unit. Surrounding Wahak Hotronk are scenic mountains. There are two sections of Wahak Hotronk which are separated by a mile or so. There are closer to 100 housing units and a population nearer to 350 at Wahak Hotronk, than is actually being reported. One part of Wahak Hotronk is not considered to be a part of Wahak Hotronk. That be that one just west of Wahak Hotronk which has many newer housing units. Housing units at Wahak Hotronks are much older.
