Battle of Blue Licks

This August 19, 1782 (1782-1794) Northwest Indian War battle was another Indian victory over the United States. The Anishinabek, Shawnee and other Indian warriors ambushed the nearly 200 American soldiers, then completely ruined their day. Some 77 American soldiers were killed, and many more were wounded during this 1782 battle.
