Battle of Bushy Run

A contingent of nearly 500 English soldiers were given orders to reinforce Fort Pitt, which was being laid siege to by Pontiacs warriors during 1763. In the battle, the english used a clever deploy which fooled the indian warriors into leaving the safety of the concealments. After realizing they had been fooled, the indian warriors put up a good fight but were overwhelmed by the english soldiers, then retreated from the battle in disgrace. Their casualties were around 100 killed and another 50 or so wounded. English casualties were near 60 killed and wounded.
