Battle of Fort Dearborn
This 1812 battle occurred in the Three Fires Confederation's land around what is now Chicago. Several hundred Ojibway, Ottawa and Potawatomi warriors forced the Americans in Fort Dearborn to surrender, but while being forced to leave their fortification the whites were enticed to start a battle which they lost. After the battle was over 100 white casualties were inflicted, with 86 being killed by the victorious Three Fires Confederation.
