Battle of Fort William Henry


This battle occurred during July of 1757 during the French and Indian War. The Anishinabek, their allies and the French forced the English to capitulate the fort, and after doing so, the Anishinabek and their Indian allies killed anywhere from 300 to 1500 English captives.
