Battle of Monongahela

This battle was one which England regretted afterwards. England's deliberate invasion into the kingdom of the powerful Three Fires Confederation is why this battle was fought. It was fought in the Pennsylvania land of the Three Fires Confederation, near present day Pittsburg. Some 1400 English soldiers gave battle to about 600 Anishinabe warriors and were incapable of dominating them. After the battle 877 English soldiers had been ethier killed or wounded (456 were killed) by the victorious Anishinabek. The Anishinabe casualties were minimal.
