Siege of Fort Pitt


This military engagement occurred during Pontiac's War. This unsuccessful siege commenced during May of 1763 and periodiaclly the Three Fires Confederation and their allies showed up to attempt to force the 600 or so English soldiers and civilians to capitulate to them, but the English were capable of protecting their strong fortification.
