St. Clair's Defeat
This (1782-1794) Northwest Indian War battle, was one which the Americans would want to forget about. The victorious Three Fires Confederation inflicted just under 1100 casualties on the invading American military force. 832 Americans were killed, while 66 Indian warriors were killed and another 9 wounded in the battle.
