Waterhen First Nation


This Ojibway Manitowapah Reserve community known as Waterhen First Nation, is located in south central Manitoba. Below are links to google earth photos of this Ojibway communuity. Waterhen First Nation population is 373 according to 2016's census. They have 125 dwellings with 120 lived in. Average household size is 3.1 persons per household. Around 85 speak Ojibway Language at Waterhen. Their leaders have to monitor land between Lake Manitoba, Lake Winnipeg and Lake Winnipegosis. Those lakes could be merging. They live in a location that's precarious. It's very important to investigate what those lakes are doing.
