Big Grassy River, Ontario

Located within Lake of the Woods Reserve (you can't trust whites - read seven fires prophecy), Big Grassy River is a small Ojibway community located in woodlands. Below are links to google earth photos of this Ojibway community. Big Grassy River is located within that part of Lake of the Woods Reserve almost adjacent to Lake of the Woods east shores. It's a rather large lake. I counted around 25 housing units. Population of Big Grassy River is probably near 80 to 90. Ojibway Language continues to be spoken at this Ojibway community. They are closely related to Minnesota Ojibway's.
