Pauingassi First Nation

This Ojibway Misipawistik Ojibway Reserve community known as Pauingassi First Nation, is located east of Lake Winnipeg, in Manitoba. According to 2016's census, on-Reserve population of Pauingassi First Nation is 271. They have 96 dwellings with 75 lived in. Average household size is 3.6 persons per household. Around 215 speak Ojibway Language at Pauingassi First Nation which is an isolated community some 10 miles or 16.1 kilometers north of Little Grand Rapids. Pauingassi is situated along Fishing Lakes north shores.
