Fort Apache Reservation
It was created on November 9, 1871. Fort Apache Reservation originally extended to Arizona's border with New Mexico. Those Apache People who are really Ojibway, that settled at Fort Apache Reservation, were native to that region and were known as White Mountain Apache Tribe. They were traitors that willingly joined with American Soldiers to kill their own people during a 15 year period between 1871 and 1886, known as Apache Wars. Apache is an Ojibway word signifying "absolutely," as in Absolute Destruction. In Ojibway Language it's pronounced A-pit-chi. They will never accept being Ojibway. We know Athabascan People are Ojibway. Their history is one whites have written for them. What that indicates is a smoldering existence of lies. As mentioned, Apache Indians are really Ojibway. If they were set aside Reservations with an abundance of farmland, they tended to not settle at them. They knew white settlers would force their way in and take their land. They cry to their leaders who would break treaty and open up Reservations to white settlement. Most Reservations have been violated by American leaders who broke treaty agreements far more often than agreeing to accept treaty agreements. Only a few Reservations have not been violated. Fort Apache Reservation is one of them. Nearly all Reservations not violated have land that is undesirable. Apache Indians were mountain folks and that helped them. By hiding out in mountainous terrain, they could fight a war their enemy really didn't want to fight. Chiricajua Reservation was located a few miles south of Fort Apache Reservation. It was created on December 14, 1872. American leaders made a deliberate mistake by including a large area of productive land within Chiricajua Reservation. Ojibway leaders responded by retreating to mountainous terrain and fighting. Today, those descendants of Chiricajua Reservation are Arizona's Kickapoo Ojibway's. Fort Apache Reservation also has many descendants of Chiricajua Reservation. They already know what to expect from white leaders.
