Dan Shab, Ontario

This Walpole Island Reservation community is located in WIR's north portion. Below are links to google earth photos of this small Ojibway community. It is an unincorporated community without a name. I named it after a road in which most housing units are located adjacent to. Canada does not provide census details and demographics of Ojibway Reserve communities. Only Reserves. Using google earth i counted around 20 housing units. Dan Shab's population is anywhere from 40 to 60. It depends on average household size. According to 2016's census, average household size for this Reserve is 2.6 persons per household. So Dan Shab's population is probably around 50 to 55.
