Harlem, Fort Belknap-Rocky Boy Reservation


This city is located on the northern fringe of the Fort Belknap-Rocky Boy Reservation. Harlem is about three miles north of Fort Belknap Agency. The 2010 population of Harlem was 808. Native Americans including mixed bloods and Hispanics, make up 74% of the population. Whites make up 25% of the population. A total of 359 housing units are in the city which gives Harlem a 2.2 persons per housing unit average. Harlem covers 0.4 sq. mi. Zip code is 59526. Elevation is 2,365 feet above sea level. About 23% of the citizens of the city live below the poverty line. Harlem may be the largest settlement on this Reservation.
