It's population increased by 30 between 2010 and 2020. In 2010's census Nespelem Community had a population of 253. Natives make up 88.0% of the population. Mixed bloods 7.8%. Whites 4.2%. Mexicans 1.8%. The 2020 census reported a population of 180 for Nespelem. It's population declined by 56 between 2010 and 2020. The town has a total of 77 housing units which gives Nespelem an average housing unit size of 3.0 persons per housing unit, which is below normal for the average Ojibwa housing unit size. Natives make up 92.2% of Nespelem's population. Mexicans 4.4%. Mixed bloods 4.4%. Whites 3.3%. Combined population is 453. Economically the citizens of both Nespelem and Nespelem Community, are doing well.
